To help communicate her ideas, Bonnie uses visual imagery, mood boards, collages, and photography. She curates mood boards filled with key imagery as tools to help her obtain an atmosphere and vision.

Bonnie's drawing process has a key focus on organic texture and fluid form. To enhance textural qualities, she uses several different drawing mediums such as charcoal, watercolor, ink, and pencil. She does not create imagery with a finished form in mind; instead, she creates with intuitive mark-making and refers to her research for inspiration.
